2387. Change and half hearted proposals.
The standard way of approaching a problem i islike plugging a hole in a dike as in Holland. The reality now is that everything is changing at the same time. The entire wall of the dike is seeping. Your house is now questionable, your bank may be liquidated or conscripted, schools may not open, the ocean seems joining the dance of chaos and death that is coming on like a tide. Thus all proposals seem like incomplete, even creating more problems. Time to read Toynbees' Study of History and his analysis of the challenge and response of societies that died.
