2434. Reading?

Itt is strange reading novels that have no awareness of new climate problems . But in that context I’ve been reading

• Pitrim Sorokin Social and Cultural Dynamics

• Graeber and Wengrow The Dawn of Everything. a new History of Humanity

• Toynbee A study of History.

They really support each other and help understand how a whole society can have an up and a down. Ot maybe can’t avoid and up and a down. The reason for the down is understandable. Maybe we can’t do much about it but understanding it conveys some sense of dignity and just might lead somewhere.
