2479. Gardenworld as practice
We need to think through Gardenworld as a practice. People want guidance on what to do but lack voice which denies society feedback on how we are doing. We need less population add more attention to food and gardens. Shelter comes next. Economics has been the guardian to a homeostatic economy but homeostasis leaves out human experience and deeper values. Mathematics can describe the dynamics of a system internally but cannot deal with things coming in from outside the system because they have no representation within the equations. The stress on the equilibrium models has supported neoliberalism.
I sense that there is increasing interest in a Gardenworld approach to the difficult future. See for example

But we cannot get from the structures we have to a new structure in a direct line. The structure we have must be at least partially taken down before anything new can emerge.
