The coming changes, driven by humanitarian and security needs, means that things like economics, which has been largely based on open markets and kleptocracy, will profoundly change. Economics has mostly relied on differential equations of flow changes over time, will be best understood as major system discontinuities which rip those equations a[part.
Who gets the food
These questions will have new answers. Some form of world governance is likely to emerge. We have global problems but no requisity variety (Ross Ashby) in governments. In Lao Tzu’s Dao De Jing it is said that governing a state is like trying to prepare and cook a goldfish. Messy. Mess is likely to be the phase we have to go through. Made worse because so much human effort is going to go toward trying to keep change from happening. Things will have to fall apart before they can be rearranged to fit new circumstances.
