2567. Cause and effects
We spend too much time on the first but not enough on the second. We need to open up our imagination to the multiple paths for the future and be willing to let go of paths that are not tenable.
The Western way is cause and effect, a straight our from cause A to effect. B
The Chinese way is to look at the many effects of A and the many effects of B and to look at where those effects touch. Much more organic and wider scope.
