Capital is bigger than capitalism

Capital is social surplus. Capitalism is a system where some of us own the surplus of society and most of us don’t. Don’t waste time trying to change capital. It just is. Trying to change capitalism is a serious and possible and difficult and worthy task. Don’t get distracted by trying to eliminate surplus.*

*The form that capital , surplus, takes is modifiable. The distinction between capitalism and capital, still holds.
