2404. Climate justice replaces climate heating as concern

Another distraction is to climate justice. Yes, lets’ do all we must to make sure that climate efforts are fair. But note how the claim for justice, clearly reasonable and actually necessary, is replacing concern with the mechanisms and consequences of heating.

Hidden in the climate justice campaign is the hope, not of meeting climate goals justly, but of forgetting about those goals and replacing them with equitable distribution along simplistic lines of re-dividing the output of the global economy, which is not only not to be reduced

but increased, raising the standard of living of most, the methods for which we can fight among ourselves while fossil fuels continue to increase.

This is like a giant chess game, with lots of lobbyists and lawyers playing on the board, well paid and working more than 40 hours per week for their clients while we, innocents, continue to be distracted.
