I want to mention another problem with leadership: the desire for profitable success leads top-level managers to corrupt lower-level employees by requesting! them to illegal activities. This kind of corruption is a product of a corrupting corporate culture and is bad for individual growth as well as for society/ The employee wants to be a good! employee and hence to follow along with whatever top management wants.
Take this minor example.
A multi-national company was scammed of HK$200 million (S$34 million) after an employee in Hong Kong attended a video conference call with deepfake recreations of the company’s chief financial officer and other employees.
Obviously more than a one-person operation in the scamming company;
Corruption of employees probably happens less in cooperatives but clearly happens in places like churches and many corporations. Maybe Trump’s loan application "corruption" in New York is practiced by many. Maybe eternal vigilance is needed.
