Strategic common sense
I like some responses I received but think we need to go a bit deeper looking at suggestions more structurally, like regenerative ag, what will it take, like seeds, water availability, down time for land modification and effect on total food supply, and then the politics and ownership If it can’t be done we would say so.
I wish we could be more critical in our thinking about sentences like "we are a long ways from bringing down our emissions to a livable level.” Implication is that we are bringing down our emissions but we are not We need some thing like analytical thinking along the lines of good common sense.. The fact is that we are not bringing them down and that what has been gained by solar and wind instead of replacing fossil fuels has merely added to the amount of energy that we are using. We need some thing like analytical thinking along the lines of good common sense.
