Most people still want the future to look like the present but the more adventurous are saying we need to rethink capitalism, democracy, economics, philosophy how we get food, and how we spend our time. It seems that these changes, necessary for coping with climate and underlying causes, are not going to be chosen by us but forced on us. What will such a world look like? Is there any sane way to live in such a world? How do we discuss this with children, friends, neighbors, and coworkers?
(I am assuming that in the background we are familiar with the postings in other blogs by Schmachtenbeerger, Nate Hagens, Simon Michaux and I'll add Roberto Unger.)
