Is it possible for Trump? Will send the National Guard from the red states eo the blue states to capture the targeted migrants The purpose would be to start a conflict which would justify his declaring a national emergency. Then he calls the constitution void and renames the presidency as king. Such a scenario is plausible. Will state and national bureaucracies Such a scenario is plausible. Will state and national bureaucracies thwart this attempt? Not at all clear. I am thinking that the best historical parallel to Trump is Mussolini, not Rome.
