Ideologies are based on the underlying asumotions and, if there is conflict, to be explored with awe and interest.
As I think about this, I’m reminded of Thomas’s “Harmless People”, and her descriptions of how !Kung women, would, in times of famine and scarcity, immediately bury their newborns, rather than watch them die of starvation.
