Still prepping the veg garden beds for peppers, more plantings of green beans, and more. Soon to sow a second round of scallions and a second of basils. In the tract to the west, getting set to plant seedlings: one hazelnut, one oak, one as yet non-ID'd nut tree, inspire in part by the 3-yr-old buckeye putting out lush growth. This AM, traveling to son's home 50 miles to the north to co-work with him on his tomato-pepper garden featuring San Marzanos for his pizzas, a specialty.
