I see a lot of people politely discussing and debating how to re-engineer the engine (while themselves being far removed those engines — i.e. the fossil fuel mines derricks and pipelines and refineries). Like the conferences you’ve posted about this week.
But I see very few throwing wrenches. Recent exceptions include Jessica Reznicek and Ruby Montoya, who threw several wrenches into the Dakota Access Pipeline, and who now are collectively facing 110 years behind bars.

The track ahead is unfinished. It ends at a cliff. The cliff is drawing near.
Staying in the train means certain death. But jumping out the window doesn't look much better.
What to do? "Go limp"? I used to think this was practically our only option. That or crossing our fingers and jumping out the window.
But there is of course a third option. Fight our way to the engine room and throw a wrench in it.
