Really good questions. As of now we have large population so vast societies are with us. Perhaps population reduces (I think it is Linley), then Gardenworld, focus on the local, uses the Internet, if we we still have it, to learn from each other and cautiously coordinate. This would be pretty good and is the best I can realistically imagine. Not likely but possible if we work for it.
